Originally posted by geoI too lost my Canon Elph S230 (with a 256 card on the inside) somewhere after Danny's talk on Fri night. (Got pretty trashed w/ Dan so I imagine someone now has 200+ drunken pictures of portions Kaminsky, unintelligible pictures of the ceiling, and other random crap)
Doubt it would ever show up, but on the off chance it does, I'd be glad to offer something for it back. (Yeah the camera is old, but I have enough accessories for it (which I didn't manage to loose) that I don't want to have to re-buy all over again to fit the new cameras.)
In terms of your photos, you can try to see if anyone posts them. They might keep the camera, but post the photos (if the first action wasn't to reformat the card)
It is a s230 and has a 256mb card, All the photos are still on it..
Where were you seated?
Can you tell me what photos are on it?
Any marks or something identifying?
You already provided some details that make me believe its yours but 6+ people saw me pick it up from the floor. PM me with any details.. I'll arrange to get it out to you..Last edited by [Syntax]; August 5, 2005, 18:16.Comment

Sony CyberShot DSC-T1 lost :(
I do not want to say stolen in hopes that someone will realize and be kind enough to return it...
I'm not rich and it was not easy to get this camera... it (Sony CyberShot DSC-T1 w. 512MB card) went missing at Friday, 4pm tent even right from me...
I understand if I was a BestBuy or a fat CEO but it's just not right in any way... and there is such thing as karma... please at least contact me...
Thank you all...Comment

This years losses were:
Canon Elph SD500 w/ 1GB SD, charger, spare battery
Oakley Titanium in orginal soft bag.
A friend was my holding bag and several others when they had to pack up the Wall quickly to make way for queercon and mine got missed. Some one found the bag, rooted through it, and left it for security.
Obviusly not a geek that rooted the backpack, since they left the original orinoco gold w/ antenna connector.
My loss, my fault, hopefully I won't get too much grief from AMEX travel insurance (if I can ever get corporate to give me the info so I can file a claim). If you can remember DefCon, you weren't really there...Comment
