    Defcon Kids question

So in the closing ceremonies Nico(sp?) said that there was a ton of 0days found by the kids. Something like over 50. My only question is what exactly IS an 0day in comparison from Defcon and Defcon kids.

For instance, the time bug/glitch that cyfi found last year in a phone game.....while yes this was a good hack BUT not an 0day in my opinion.

Everyone knows my thoughts, but for the sake of just feeding the trolls. It's absolute bs, and I'm sad for the kids. They are working hard, having fun, and then to have "one of us" stand up at the end as press and report 30+ 0days, it completely wipes out ANY traction or respect the movement has. Taken from the twitter verse via Zaphan: "We" hate it when the media mixes terms and embellish. No need to do it to ourselves."

When I created the idea during DEF CON 18, I didn't intend for it to evolve quite like it had, in some ways it's better than I hoped but in many other ways I'm disappointed.

Well, since Niko runs defcon kids now, why not tell her to use the correct verbage? Also, I really appreciate the honest response and am glad to see I'm not the only one with an issue on this.
